This is a blog post about Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Not because we wanted to write a blog post about SEO. Certainly not because we harbor deep affection for the machinations of our search engine overlords. We are here because SEO, like gravity or regulatory oversight, exists whether we acknowledge it or not.

So, consider this a controlled experiment. A live demonstration of what happens when you take SEO language (FDA inspection readiness consulting, PAI readiness support, interim QA consultant, IND CMC consulting, quality system remediation, regulatory remediation consulting, embedded regulatory support, FDA audit preparation consulting) and attempt to act as if you are not fighting your way up the indexing ladder.

Step One: Let’s Admit Why We’re Both Here

There is a strong chance you did not wake up this morning, blearily hit your snooze button for the third time, and think to yourself at the first light of the breaking sunrise, “I’d love to read a reflective essay about SEO.”

You probably had other issues on your mind. A backlog of investigations, an uncomfortable or ineffable root cause that scratches at the back of your mind like a forgotten danger, a compliance calendar that is filling up even as your peers are equally buried in tasks around you. And hasn’t it been a while since the last surprise visit from an inspector?

You probably dodged those thoughts the way we all do. Haphazardly grabbing your phone and serotonin scrolling. You checked the front page of Reddit, found a run on TikTokMetaReelsShorts that started with a kitten falling over and somehow ended with sour candy being coated in vats of unnecessarily neon citric acid. A work notification interrupts your brainrot. You guiltily search for something productive to solve at least one of your problems.

Possibly FDA inspection readiness consulting. Possibly PAI readiness support. Possibly Interim Freelance QA consultant biotech because someone resigned, someone else panicked, and the word “backfill” has taken on a haunted quality in the current economic climate.

This is called “search intent”, which is SEO-speak for what is actually going on in your life right now.

And so, the long watch of SEO begins. This brings us to Step Two.

Step Two: Repeat the Keywords

(but like, in a way that is Cool and apparently Accidental)

The internet will tell you not to “keyword stuff” in your writing.  This is good advice if your goal is to sound human. Unfortunately, between AI and brain rot, the all-powerful Algorithm¹ still appreciates² a certain amount of repetition and saying things again.

This time with feeling:

Notice how that paragraph feels slightly…unhinged. That’s because it is doing SEO.

This is the trade-off for ensuring the robot makes sure your search brings you to the right people.

Step Three: Here’s a fun trick we call “Explain the Concept While Doing the Concept”

SEO is the art of saying the same thing multiple times while pretending you are not.

For example, instead of saying:

“We help when things go wrong.”

You say:

“We provide regulatory remediation consulting and FDA audit preparation consulting.”

Instead of:

“We need help, but we can’t hire.”

You say:

“We are seeking interim QA consultant biotech support.”

Instead of:

“This inspection is going to be bad.”

You say:

“We need PAI readiness support for our critical vendors”

Step Four: Let’s Somewhat Acknowledge the AI-lephant in the Room

This would be the moment where an AI-generated blog post would say something like:

In today’s rapidly evolving regulatory landscape — organizations must navigate FDA inspection readiness with confidence.

Bruh.

AI is excellent at producing things that look like sentences, feel like nails on a chalkboard, and say nothing. AI can’t really communicate because it has no lived experience, no nagging anxiety about a certain batch run that it can’t quite put its finger on, no dread over the fear of failure. It does not feel the heavy silence that follows the phrase “FDA has questions.” IBM had foresight when it wrote in its employee manual in 1979, “a computer can never be held accountable and therefore must never be allowed to make a management decision.” ³ 

AI knows what interim regulatory support means.

It does not know what it feels like.

That difference matters. To readers. To regulators. And, increasingly, to search engines⁴ that are tired of being politely lied to.

Step Five: Use Headers

Because Apparently That Matters

It exists because Google likes clarity.

It exists because someone, somewhere, is searching this exact phrase.

This is not elegant writing.

This is cooperative⁵ writing.

We promise future actual blog posts will not be as insipid as we had to make this one.

Step Six: Admit the Point

SEO has us all under duress

The point of this exercise is not to convince you that SEO is fun.

It is not.⁶

The point is to show that SEO does not have to turn your writing into corporate oatmeal.

You can:

·       Use SEO terms deliberately

·       Acknowledge their absurdity

·       Still sound like a human being

·       Still say something true
